The local administration of Bandarban has announced that all tourist spots in seven upazilas of the district will remain closed for the next two weeks due to the rise of the coronavirus infection.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Yasmin Parvin Tibriji confirmed the information to risingbd on Wednesday (March 31).
According to the district administration sources, all tourist spots in the district have been declared closed for two weeks from Wednesday (March 31) due to the rise of coronavirus infection in the district. Tourists will not be able to stay at any tourist spot in the district during this period. However, the hotels and motels have not been officially closed as there will be no tourists even if the number of tourists decreases.
