Flight operations on domestic routes of the country will remain suspended from Monday (April 5) due to the seven-day lockdown announced today.
The decision came at a meeting held at the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism on Saturday (April 3).
Air-Vice Marshal M Mofidur Rahman, chairman of Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB), confirmed the matter to the media.
But flight operations on international routes will continue, he said.
Mentionable, the government has announced a fresh lockdown for one week across the country from Monday (April 5) as coronavirus cases and deaths have increased in the country.
