All commercial and scheduled banks will remain open from 10:00am to 12:30pm on regular working days amidst the lockdown.
The central bank announced the new schedule for the next seven days in tune with a new lockdown declared by the government.
Bangladesh Bank issued a notification in this regard on Sunday (April 4).
Earlier, the government announced an 11-point directive including the suspension of public transport services in a bid to contain the spread of coronavirus.
