On Tuesday (April 13) evening, she made the urge while addressing the nation on the occassion of Pohela Boishakh, the first day of the Bangla calendar which is on Wednesday.

Calling on all to be cautious about the spread of coronavirus, the premier said, “Each of us has a responsibility to protect ourselves, our family members and our neighbors. We have already allocated Tk 807.65 crore for job creation in rural areas and more than Tk 672 crore for the holy month of Ramadan and the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. This will benefit about 1 crore 24 lakh 42 thousand low-income families of the country.
