But who was that person? The ICC’s Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) did not reveal his identity. That incident took place in January 2018. Shakib was twice offered for match-fixing in the tri-nation series between Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. Heath Streak came to Dhaka as the coach of Zimbabwe in that series. According to various sources, Shakib’s phone number was given to Agawal by Streak! Not only that, Shakib, Tamim and two other cricketers were introduced with Agarwal by him.

Streak also did the same immoral things in 2017 BPL, 2018 Pakistan Super League and Afghan Premier League and various international matches.
Agarwal not only proposed Shakib, but also to Tamim. However, the left-arm opener immediately informed the anti-corruption officer of the BCB and the team investigating Shakib’s incident summoned Tamim to a hotel in Dhaka. Shakib had been punished for committing a crime despite getting an offer of fixing. Tamim was extra conscious in that case.
