Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that the Bangladesh border with India will remain closed for next 14 days from Monday (April 26).
The government has taken the decision as the coronavirus situation in India has deteriorated drastically.
The Minister on Sunday (April 25) said, “All kinds of border crossings will remain closed for the 14 days. The law enforcement agencies including Bangladesh Border Guard (BGB) have been instructed to stay alert during the period.”
The air travel with the country has been suspended for the same reason from earlier.
