Low pressure area likely to form over Bay

Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Tuesday predicted that a low-pressure area is likely to form over Southeast Bay and adjoining area during next 24 hours.
Trough of westerly low lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining area, the BMD said, adding that another trough of low extended from South Bay lies over Northeast Bay.

The Met Offic also forecasted that weather may remain dry over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today.

Besides, night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, BMD said in a release.

As an outlook for next 72 hours, it predicted: “Night temperature may rise”.

The country’s maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 33.5 degrees Celsius jointly at Cox’s Baza in Chattogram division while minimum temperature today was 13.5 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division.

The sun sets at 5:15 PM today and rises at 6:10 AM tomorrow in the capital.
