Death toll from Sayedabad gas cylinder blast rises to 4

One more person died while undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery due to injuries caused by the gas cylinder blast incident in Dhaka’s Sayedabad area.

Md Shafik, 50, with 80% burn injuries, breathed his last at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery around 7:30pm on Tuesday (November 16).

With this, the death toll from the blast rose to four.

Hospital Resident Surgeon Dr SM Ayub Hossain confirmed the matter to risingbd.

Earlier, Bishwanath Dutta, Abul Kalam and Md Ripon succumbed to burn injuries at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.

On November 13, six people sustained burn injuries when a gas cylinder exploded at a tea stall in Sayedabad, Jatrabari in the capital.
