The Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in a raid recovered a huge cache of arms from the Satchari National Park in Habiganj.
15 mortar shells and four boxes of bullets have been recovered from the park during the raid.
CTTC Chief Md Asaduzzaman confirmed the news on Monday (December 27) afternoon.
Details will be briefed once the raid concludes, he said.
Earlier, law enforcers began the raid inside the Satchari National Park around 3:00am today.
