10 more Omicron cases detected in Bangladesh

10 more Omicron variant of the coronavirus cases were detected in Bangladesh on Thursday.

All of them were Dhaka residents.

Germany’s Global Initiative on Sharing All Influenza Data (GISAID) announced the detection of the 10 new cases on Thursday night.

With the latest infections, the total number of Omicron cases in the country now stands at 20.

As stated by the GISAID website, the new patients infected with Omicron include seven females and three males.

There was no data on the travel history of the new patients.
