No vaccine requirement for 12-year-old hajj pilgrims

Saudi Arabia will now allow children under the age of eleven years old to perform hajj this year.

A press release signed by Abul Kashem Muhammad Shaheen, Deputy Secretary (Hajj-l), Ministry of Religious Affairs confirmed the matter on Thursday (June 9).

Regular hajj pilgrims will have to show health check-up reports and Covid-19 vaccine certificates during immigration at the airport this year.
