The results of this year’s Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations will be published on Sunday (November 26). Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni along with the chairmen of the education boards will hand over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina around 10:00 am. Later, the students and guardians will be able to know the results from the websites. To get results through SMS on your mobile phone, write HSC, then the first three letters of your education board’s name, roll number and 2023, and send it to 16222 (eg HSC Dha 123456 2023 send to 16222). The results will be informed in the return SMS. Besides, the results can be known by going to http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd/ with the roll and registration number. To get Alim results, write ALIM, Mad, roll number and 2023 (all separated by a space), and send the text to 16222. For technical board students, write HSC, Tec, roll number and 2023, and send it to 16222.

A truck smashed a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw at Belpukur union under Puthiya upazila of Rajshahi district on Saturday (November 25) noon, leaving five people dead.

The accident occurred at 3:00pm.

The deceased were identified as Ayub Ali Labu and his sister Parvin Begum, Sharmin, Hridoy and Insaf Ali.

Rajshahi University Fire Service Unit leader Mohammad Ariful Islam confirmed the information.

Spokesperson of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police, Jamirul Islam said one died on the spot and five others were injured critically after the truck smashed the CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Rajshahi-Dhaka highway.

Later, the injured five were taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared four of them dead.

MA Jalil, a physician at the emergency department of the hospital, said four out of the five injured people brought to the hospital succumbed to their injuries.
