SSC, equivalent exams begin

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations have begun simultaneously across the country.

The examinations begun at 10 am on Sunday (April 30) and will end at 1 pm.

According to the Education Ministry, a total of 20,72,163 students across the country are registered to participate in this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations.

As per the instruction issued by the Education Ministry, examinees have been asked to wear school uniforms during examinations or wear decent dress if they have no specific uniforms.

Bangla first paper exam is being held on the first day. The examinations will continue till May 23, according to the routine.

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) issued a directive mentioning that excepting the examinees, no one will be allowed within 200 yards of examination centres in the capital during the SSC and its equivalent examinations.

Candidates must enter examinations centres at least 30 minutes earlier. If a candidate appears late due to unavoidable reasons, the candidate’s name, roll number, entry time, reason for delay should be mentioned in the register book and submitted in the form of a report to the concerned education board on the same day.
