On the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, the advance sale of train tickets has started from yesterday. Bangladesh Railway has started selling train tickets in advance from April 10 on the day of Eid. On the occasion of Eid, the train journey will start from April 3.
Today, Monday (March 25) from 8 am to April 4 intercity train ticket sales have started. This is the ticket for the second day of Eid train journey.
Western train tickets will be available at this time and Eastern train tickets will be sold at 2 pm. This time the number of outbound tickets in intercity trains including special trains from Dhaka is 33 thousand 500.
This information is known from the recently published minutes of Bangladesh Railway on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. In the previous Eid, 5-day tickets were sold, but this time, the railways is selling seven-day tickets for the first time.
April 5 tickets for intercity trains before Eid will go on sale on March 26; Tickets for April 6 go on sale March 27; Tickets go on sale from March 28 to April 7; Tickets for April 8 will go on sale on March 29 and tickets for April 9 on March 30. Also 25% tickets will be available from starting station before departure on request of general passengers.
