Bangladeshi youth killed in BSF firing at Kasba border

At Putia border of Bayek Union of Kasba Upazila of Brahmanbaria on Monday morning, Indian Border Guard Force BSF fired. A young man named Hasan (23) was killed. 60 BGB Commander (CO) Javed Bin Jabbar confirmed the truth of the incident.

The deceased Md. Hasan is the son of Jaru Mia of Kaimpur village of Kaimpur union of Kasba upazila.

Eyewitnesses, police, BGB and hospital sources said that in the Putia area of Bayek Union of Kasba Upazila, 2050 pillar area of the Indian border today Monday morning. Hasan goes to zero line. At that time, a BSF member came and fired a shot through gate number three of that area of India. When the bullet hit him in the back, Hasan fell to the ground in a bloody state. At this time Md. A few local people including Yachin and Emon Mia rescued him and brought him to Kasba Upazila Health Complex. The doctor on duty there declared him dead.
Zaru Mia, the father of the deceased, said. Hasan is the youngest of his 5 sons. He does agriculture. Went to the border in India with friends this Monday morning. Killed in BSF firing there. She has a four-month-old son.

Deputy Inspector (SI) of Kasba police station. Sohel Sikder said, BSF firing. A young man named Hasan died. The body of the deceased was recovered from the Upazila Health Complex.

Sultanpur 60BGB Captain (CO) Javed Bin Jabbar confirmed the truth of the incident and said that a strong protest will be made through a flag meeting by informing the Indian BSF about the death of a Bangladeshi youth on the border.
