A tourist died after he fell sick at Sugandha beach in Cox’s Bazar on Saturday (April 27) morning.
The deceased was identified as Motiur Rahman, a resident of Burichang upazila in Cumilla.
Lifeguard employee Mohammad Osman said Motiur Rahman was walking along the sea in the morning. Suddenly, he fell sick. Later, lifeguard and beach employees took him to Sadar Hospital where on-duty doctors declared him dead.
The hospital physicians suspect that Motiur Rahman might have died from cardiac arrest.
