Titas commuter train engine broke down in Narsingdi, passengers suffering

Narsingdi: The engine of Titas commuter train which left Akhaura bound for Dhaka broke down. The passengers have suffered greatly.

On Tuesday (May 21) at around 7:30 AM, the Titas commuter train reached Amirganj Bridge in Narsingdi and the engine broke down.
The regular passengers of Titus Commuter train said that the Dhaka-bound Titus Commuter train left Akhaura at 5:10 and reached Amirganj Bridge in Narsingdi when the engine broke down. Due to this, thousands of train passengers including regular commuter train commuter Titus towards Dhaka have suffered greatly. This train is running on Dhaka-Narsingdi-Akhaura railway with old engine. Almost every day thousands of passengers have to suffer.

Narsingdi Railway Station Master Musa Mia confirmed the truth of the incident and said that the Titus commuter train towards Dhaka reached the bridge adjacent to Amirganj station and the engine broke down. Later, the train was brought to Narsingdi station by the freight train engine from Khana Bari. But there was no accident. Authorities in Dhaka have been informed. Train movement is now normal.
