Hezbollah missile attacks in Israel, houses and buses on fire

For the third day in a row, the fighters of the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah launched missile attacks on Israel. These attacks were carried out on Friday (June 14) in Metula and the occupied Sheba Farms area in northern Israel.

A missile attack set fire to two houses in the town of Metula on Israel’s northern border. An old bus was burnt. It is said that the fire spread after that. However, no casualty was immediately reported in these attacks.

Hebrew-language media reports on social media claimed Hezbollah fired six missiles at the barrage.

Local Israeli media reported that five anti-tank missiles were fired at Israeli soldiers and farmers in Metula on Friday. The fire spread like wildfire as several missiles hit the ground. The fire service personnel tried hard to put it out.

Since the beginning of the rampage in Gaza, Hezbollah has been targeting Islamic territory. However, three members of Hezbollah were killed in an Israeli attack in the southeastern part of Lebanon on Tuesday. Three security sources said that Taleb Abdullah, who was killed among them, was the group’s senior field commander.

Security sources also said that the deceased Taleb was the most senior commander of Hezbollah. He was the commander of Hezbollah in the central region of the southern border.

In retaliation, Hezbollah fired more than 200 rockets and drones at northern Israel on Wednesday. In addition, the pro-Iranian organization claimed to attack nine military installations of Israel last Thursday.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s popularity is at an all-time low due to the massacre in Gaza.
